The California Policy Advocate will be responsible for working with California Regional Office staff and other Earthjustice team members, as appropriate, to develop and implement legislative and administrative strategies in Sacramento, under the direction of the California Regional Office Managing Attorney. Our current California priorities include protecting frontline communities and public lands from oil and gas development, safeguarding ecosystems and imperiled species, advancing clean energy innovation towards a zero-emissions future, improving air quality for vulnerable communities in Los Angeles and the Central Valley, and fighting dangerous pesticide use that impacts communities and ecosystems. Mid-Career

Multiracial Democracy Project — Assistant Director
Through education and research, the MDP seeks to address many of the most urgent problems facing multiracial democracy—disinformation, cultural anxiety, racial polarization, antidemocratic attitudes, vote dilution, voter suppression, and the decline of key voting rights protections. The MDP enables GW Law faculty and students, as well as voting rights leaders, democracy reform leaders, tech policy leaders, policymakers, and renowned experts, to work and teach across its three pillars. The Assistant Director, Multiracial Democracy Project will report directly to the MDP’s Executive Director. The incumbent will be the primary manager of a multiyear initiative on voting rights, serving as both a project manager and subject matter expert. They will also generally support MDP efforts as needed. Apply Here

Working Families Party— Director of Federal Strategy
The Working Families Party is the party for the working people of all races. We all work hard to take care of our families and contribute to our communities. We deserve respect and leaders that will fight for us. The Working Families Party is regular people coming together to fight for a country that puts working people first. The Director of Federal Strategy leads the development of and oversees the execution of WFP’s federal strategy. That includes political and electoral work, especially helping to elect the next generation of WFP candidates to Congress. It also includes organizing work to unify and grow a bloc of WFP-aligned members of Congress who can drive a progressive governing agenda with and for the multiracial working class, as well as advocacy work to advance their goals. The job will also require assessing and navigating relationships with Congressional legislative leadership, with allied organizations, advocacy groups or big spending PACs. Apply Here

Jobs posted on the list range from Organizer to Executive Director and everything in between. Campaigns, non-profits, philanthropies and other related progressive organizations and consulting firms post to this list as a part of their search strategies.   • Matt Lockshin Progressive Job Board: Find openings for digital roles in the progressive movement.

  • EMILY’s List Job Bank:  EMILY’s List works to elect pro-choice Democratic women up and down the ballot.  Their job bank sends out positions periodically, and you can also submit your resume to work for one of their campaigns through this link.

  • Union Jobs: Union Jobs, for 19 years, has been a central site for posting the open positions in unions and socially allied organizations and community organizations that are now accepting applications.

  • Wellstone Jobs: Wellstone Jobs helps organizers find great jobs working for social change (for example, jobs on campaigns, within the labor movement, at grassroots community organizations, etc.). Sign up to join the list and receive jobs through the google group.  THIS IS now re:power JOBS
